    Try LLBean, Land’s End, and Nordstrom. They all tend to have good, gender neutral baby clothes for not too much money.

    Also, consignment shops.

  2. I keep meaning to comment on this. I have a lot of the same requirements you do and have found JC Penny’s to be pretty good for some brightly colored, cute shirts. You think it’s hard when they are little, but once they hit 12 months it becomes almost impossible. Macy’s has a line called Greendog that’s usually good for a couple of shirts as well.
