Happy Mother’s Day to Me (warning, whiney)
May 13, 2007 at 10:16 pm | In AdoptThis! |I just found out that another one of the families that was visiting while we were visiting has gotten out of PGN.
Their babies are all younger than ours.
Oh, and still no new photos.
Blech. I know that I should count my blessings, but right now, I’m just feeling blue.

Happy Mother’s Day to both of you. I’m SO sorry that it’s such a blue mother’s day–that SUCKS. But you ARE mothers, and you WILL get out of PGN hell. Keep rattling those cages, making noise, and most importantly, hanging in there. I’m sending you good thoughts right now.

I’m sure its a bit depressing on Mother’s Day, but try looking at it this way … its just an unusually long gestation period — like 18 months or longer, rather than a delay! Hopefully everything will work out soon and this will all just be a memory!

Art, look how many things you have crossed off your list! I know it’s been a long hard climb and the closer you get, the more difficult the wait. You and P will get through this.
Have a good week ahead. Go lay out in your hammock with the kitties.

I know just how hard Mother’s Day is while you’re waiting to have your little boy in your arms. It must be unbelievably frustrating.
I hope that you get through this stage before too much longer, I can’t wait until you cross that 3rd-last thing off your list!

Oh, hon, the wait is just so ridiculously hard. I’m sorry. I can’t wait til next year when we’re hearing all about your first Mothers’ Day with Guatbaby at home. Hang in there.

I’m so sorry you didn’t have good news for Mother’s Day. Those holidays just remind us of what we don’t have yet! I hope it happens for you soon.

Yea, jealousy can rear it’s ugly head. But hang in there- you’re getting closer each day to GB. You are a Mommy already- fret away!
Happy Belated Momma’s Day to you and Pili!!

I am soo sorry your baby is not with you both….it is so terribly hard to see the “others” get out. I had to stop looking at the message boards because I swear if I saw one more fricking out from overjoyed!!!! parents I was going to flip…do they not know that it is rubbing it in the face of others? Grrrr.
I hope, fingers crossed, you get that call soon.

dude, I never realized how much it sucked until someone leapfrogged over us with PA and FC. I’m so sorry.

Ugh! It does suck seeing people get out before you. Hope you had a nice Mother’s Day anyway!

Oh lord. How hard not only to be in this almost final waiting stage, but to see other people getting their younger babies. Brutal. Frustrating.
